About your program facilitator and community guide
Dana Dose is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Nutrition, and Certified Lactation Counselor - but MOST importantly: a mom of 2! She has been working with patients of all ages for nearly 16 years, but it was in the last 8 years that her passion for working with children and families grew into her professional focus. In running her remote nutrition counseling business, she quickly realized there are more families that need her help than she has time for with 1:1 visits, and most busy parents can't attend live courses. That's why she launched the Nourished Foundations Community and is making her courses available in a self-paced format online to all members.
Her experiences in working with hundreds of families has taught Dana just how important connecting at mealtime actually is, and she's made it her mission to help teach families HOW TO do this and why it can be not only life-improving, but in some cases (because of the vast physical and mental health benefits) life-saving.
Of course the best time to start building new habits is the VERY beginning, to reduce the chances of having to fix problems later. With the Nourished Foundations Community, Dana is bringing you the ultimate guide and support for starting your baby and family on the best path forward to a successful, healthy, happy life free from strife around food. You are in the most-helpful hands.
Dana has pulled together all the most helpful tools, lessons, and resources gained over her extensive career and consolidated them into this comprehensive program.

You can still join! If your baby is younger, you'll benefit from the "Starting Solids YOUR Way" and "Feeding Your Older Infant" courses. You'll be able to take your time learning the material, and as long as you're a member, you'll have access to the course and materials, so you can keep coming back as many times as you need, for more details. If your baby is slightly older but you haven't learned much about starting solids yet or they're not quite an independent eater, both available courses will provide everything you missed out on. The anticipated release of the next course, "Toddlers at the Table" is December, 2025.
Absolutely! Dana will monitor the discussion board and will be the host on all Live Q&A calls. You'll have plenty of opportunities to get your questions answered. For any members who want an in-depth 1:1 appointment with Dana, she sees patients in 15 states. After (or while) going through the course(s), if you need that extra clinical-level support, there are instructions within the community on how to get set up with that. If you live in a state that Dana is not licensed in, we'll do our best to match you up with a fantastic dietitian that can work with your family on that level.
That's fantastic! This course is a general course to give guidance and ideas and is not meant to replace any individualized guidance you have received about feeding your baby/child. In fact, we recommend seeking additional support when needed.
You can cancel anytime for any reason. Your membership will remain active through the end of the term you've paid for (either the current month, if you chose the monthly payment option, or the current year if you chose the annual payment option). There are no refunds.
No, but you can absolutely refer anyone to the program who you think might benefit from it personally! There are a couple specific modules in some of the courses where you're encouraged to SHOW the video to your nanny or daycare provider, but please do not share your login. Dana gives advice on how to talk to your care providers about everything you learn, to maintain consistency for your baby throughout the day.
The goal is for each course to be posted prior to the time you'll need it, if you joined within the intended age range. For example, if you joined when your baby was 11 months old for the "Transitioning to Toddlerhood" course as soon as it was released, the next course, "Toddlers at the Table" is set to be released in less than 2 months. The "Toddlers at the Table" course is meant for parents of babies 13 months to 3 years old.
Contact [email protected] with all your questions.
That's ok! And welcome to your first! The platform is SUPER simple to use, and we're here to support you with any questions or needs along the way. All you need is a device that can access the internet, play videos, and download resources (most are pdf files). And you can always email [email protected] with technical support questions as well.
Hundreds of families have benefited from the courses housed within this community; however, it might not be for everyone. Take comfort in knowing you can cancel anytime to stop the recurring payments.
You can continue your membership for as long as you want and use the information for as many children as desired within your family. It's all covered under your one membership, and the rate you lock in today will never change! So, even if the rate goes up in the future due to added benefits, you'll continue to get the low rate that you enjoy when you join now as long as your membership remains active. If you cancel and rejoin, you'll owe the amount that the program costs at the time you rejoin.
All discount codes will have an expiration date for you to use them by. But for most discount codes (unless explicitly stated otherwise), once you use it, you'll maintain that discounted monthly or annual rate for as long as you're a member! So be sure to join before the code expires! If you cancel and then rejoin, then you'll forfeit the discounted rate you previously enjoyed, and you'll need to pay the full rate designated at the time you rejoin.
